Moving to Lagos

Hi all

I have an option to take up a role in our factory in Nigeria and I will be visiting Lagos for a pre-assignment visit in February (second week to be specific).

I'd appreciate if any Muslim Pakistani and North Indian expat families currently living in Lagos could reach out (inbox me) and perhaps meet with me once I am there in order for me to understand life in Lagos especially for young kids. I have 4 kids aged 10, 8, 4 and 2 and its very important for me to gauge how they'll be affected by this move.

Also our factory is near Murtala Muhammed International Airport so please recommend which area is the best place to find accommodation (gated compound only) which should be fairly close to my office but more importantly close to international schools.

I am told if I choose to stay in Victoria Island then the commute could be 1.5 hours one way which is daunting. Is there a similar area in terms of safety and facilities that would be closer?
