The weather and mosquitoes...... (Lagos)

Hello all,

I'm due to arrive early in September, towards the end of the rainy season and am wondering about rain and mosquitoes.

Representing a bit of new blood that will draw more mosquitoes that locals, does anyone have recommendations for products that will help keep me from being bitten like crazy!

My job will have me outdoors, so comments are appreciated!! Should I purchase and bring some rain boots, lol??? I've seen some pictures and need some detailed advice!!
