Any expat families with older children and teens? (Lausanne)

Hiyall,

We are a family of four from Canada moving to Lutry at the end of August. We just spent the last year living in the south of France where we were virtually the only "foreigners" and it was quite the isolating experience for me especially. Though our kids are fairly fluent in French and made friends at school, they deeply miss speaking and socializing in English. Our daughter is Protected content intellectual bookworm who loves debate once she's gets out of her shell) and our son is 9 (a super outgoing fun-loving kid who gets on great with every one). My husband teaches yoga workshops and retreats internationally, while I teach private and group classes in both yoga, pilates and fitness. We're looking to meet other families with kids of similar ages and/or interests. We know a sense of community will take time to build but I just thought I'd put the word out there and get a head start. Also if you have any suggestions on how to meet families with kids of this age, please let me know.
