The International Foundation for Population and Development (IFPD) is a Swiss Foundation, which was established in Lausanne in Protected content . IFPD's mission is aimed at developing and supporting projects that improve the health and quality of life for women and children in developing countries, and that offer them equal opportunities to participate in the social and economic life of their communities, in compliance with their basic human rights. IFPD works in close collaboration with local partners to develop and implement programmes that focus on access to primary and preventive health, sexual and reproductive health, education and training, and income generating activities. The Foundation creates partnerships with governmental institutions, international organisations, NGOs and representatives of the private sector for resource mobilisation as well as project implementation, in the best interest of all individuals and populations involved.

IFPD celebrates its 20th Anniversary
A gala evening to celebrate IFPD’s 20th anniversary will take place on October 25th, Protected content , at the Rosey Concert Hall in Rolle (Switzerland).

Concert given by the acclaimed violinists Gilles Apap and Michael Guttman, accompanied by a quartet of the Menuhin Academy
Two renowned Indian musicians, Guru Susanta Chowdhury (sitar) and Pandit Parimal Chakrabarty (tabla), will momentarily join the concert performers

Cocktail dinner prepared by IFPD beneficiaries in collaboration with students of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and the start-up Siradis
