Folk dances workshops in Crissier and elsewhere (Lausanne)

Hi everyone!

Is there anyone here interested in folk dances? If yes, you are welcome to the workshop which takes place in Crissier on Tuesday evening every two weeks. There you can learn various dances from the "bal folk", i.e. a mix of dances from different countries of western Europe : different regions of France(Bretagne, Auvergne, Sud-Ouest, etc.), Scotland, Ireland, Sweden, Italy, etc., as well as dances common to different countries(valse, polka, scottische, mazurka, etc.). Those are couple dances, dances in circle, in chain or alone. There is no prerequisite, you may be a total beginner. Every time Protected content dances(easy and intermediate) are explained. There is no inscription, you come when you want and it costs 7 francs. Check the full information here : Protected content If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me;)

There are other regular folk dance workshops in Lausanne, Romainmôtier, Geneva and Coinsins(near Nyon). And to practice what you learned, there are regular dances with live music in Crissier, Geneva and elsewhere in Romandie. Check the whole calendar of workshops and dances, mainly in Romandie, and some in Suisse allemande and France voisine on this site : Protected content

There is also an association in Geneva which organises courses and workshops for folk dances, music and singing from all over the world : Protected content

Make your choice and have fun;)
