Living in Le Havre
Le Havre is a stunning city in the Upper Normandy area which serves as a port to the Seine, as well as being situated on the English Channel, and is therefore known as “La porte océane”. It is a major port for Paris as well as other areas in France. There are many fantastic sights for expats living in Le Havre to explore, including the famous Le Havre Cathedral, the Church of St Joseph and Malraux Museum which has an impressive collection of works by French impressionists. The city has spectacular beaches and open spaces as well as a lively nightlife whilst there are plenty of places to enjoy traditional Normandy cider and cheese. Le Havre has been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, following its reconstruction after being damaged during World War I and World War II and it is home to a number of well-known arts and music festivals.

Moving to Le Havre
Le Havre is a fantastic location for any expatriate to move to, with plenty of cultural aspects available and a lot of history to explore. The climate of the city is very similar to other locations along the English Channel, and expats living in Le Havre will find that the city is often windy, and rain occurs regularly throughout the year. However, expatriates in Le Havre need not fear, the summers tend to be much warmer.
