Liberia, Africa's oldest republic, is home to a wide diversity of cultures. Situated on the West African coast, it has a tropical climate, with a long dry season from September to June and is famous for its golden beaches, luscious rainforests, and vibrant savannahs. Liberia's economy is varied, with around 75% of the population's income coming from agriculture and fishing . Its most profitable export sectors are timber, iron ore, and commercial farming.
