Relocating to Guildford, need advice on costs (London)

Hi everybody, I'm evaluating an opportunity in UK, office based in Guildford.
I still don't know if I'll have a company car or not, but was evaluating where to live and searching information on costs.

I found that 2 beds in the area could be something between Protected content , and there are many offers on the market.
I was also evaluating the idea of living in Portsmouth area if I don't have to go to the office very day, I love sea and open view more than the city.

Could anybody give me some advice on the following:
-Other costs related to housing (electricity, water, internet etc..)
-Tax rates on salary income
-Health insurance costs
-Transportation cost/time/traffic from Guildford to the coast
-How is life/people in Guildford area
