Need some Advice before moving to Manama

Hey expats
I am planning to come to Bahrain on a 3-month contract and I wonder how lifestyle in Bahrain look alike.
Some of my friends told me some of their experiences, whereas they claim there is nothing fun such as Night clubs, cinemas and so on. is that true?
I also know that many websites and mobile apps are blocked so but I already got a NordVPN to get around these restrictions since Nord offer a good price, also I downloaded some local apps for food delivery ,taxi, payments and expat application to keep up with all upcoming events but still feeling not good at all so if you have any advice/ recommendations or useful apps to use please let me know I would like to hear about your experience
