Possible newbie to Mozambique (Maputo)

Hello all,

I'm an American currently living in Brazil (3 years) and my wife and I are considering a move to Mozambique because of her work. She is a mining engineer for Vale. I know absolutely nothing about the area or what life is like there. Besides this site are there any other places that folks suggest to look for information? We are in our early 30's with no children yet, but we would like to have kids in the near future.
