Sales Director (Medellin)

We are a Multi-national, English Institute located in Bogota, Medellin and Cali, dedicated to teaching the English Language to Colombian citizens using qualified teachers.

This is a direct, sales commission positon. Commissions are 20% of contracts obtained.

•We are operated by Americans. Quite simply, we obtain English teaching contracts then we send the teachers to the location of the office to give the classes. We do not work from an office. This is not one of those full time, office job. Our sales people work from their homes, their other jobs or from wherever they choose.

•You must speak English at the Intermediate level or higher.

•This is a Direct Commission position of which we pay 10% of all contracts you obtain. Commissions are high because we operate on an American system of risudual commissions. This means that you do not receive the commission just one time. You receive the commission every month for as long as the contract lasts. Salary of $1,200,000 will be added after a proven track record.

If you are a strong sales person who enjoys the art of selling then consider this position because it is not like any other sales position in Colombia.

Who we are looking for:
•Sales Director needs to be an Enthusiastic person as well as Self-Motivated, Idea oriented with the drive to succeed. He/She must have excellent communication skills with background in sales.
•Sales Director must be responsible because he/she will be a team player and work with other Company employees.
•Idea-oriented - a person who has ideas and can make them happen.
•Self-motivated - A person who has the desire and drive to implement a sales approach, locating companies to promote English contracts and who can effectively deliver a compelling presentation.
•Sales Director will work directly with company owner and other management.
RESPONSIBILITIES will include but are not limited to:
•You must regularly communicate with owner and other management.
•You must complete the weekly, progress report. (Takes 10 minutes)
•Build the ‘’English teaching market’’
•Locate and obtain companies to promote English contracts.
•Arrange and attend appointments with prospective clients to sell English courses.
•Follow up and maintain a business relationship with current clients and potential clients through phone calls and e-mails.
•Obtain and record contact information,
•You are required to go to the meetings to promote and obtain the contracts as well as work on the projects.
•Exact record keeping of all data.
•Arrange and attend all company meetings.
