PET home as a back up for my short trips (Mexico City)

I have a small dog and I travel once in a while, I need to find a person that takes care of him for long weekends or weeks.
I would rather not leave him in a commercial vet branch but in a home with somebody happy, warm and friendly to host him.
Ideas? thanks
