Monrovia Healthcare and small Children?

Hi, I am considering a job in Liberia and wanted to ask about the availability of doctors there. I am not expecting super hospitals and such but hopefully something like some private western trained doctors, the kind of people that could competently say oh take two aspirin or "get this kid medevac'd!" Some countries I have been to have had surprisingly good small private clinics (usually used by embassys and expats) and others not so much but for children this has has become an extra important consideration. Any info would really be appreciated!
