Artiste Theatre Productions welcomes you to a night of original British Avant Garde theatre in Moscow, written and directed by a celebrated British writer and director.

This exclusive event, which takes place once a year, will be staged on April 15th, 19:00, at Off Theatre, Большой Сухаревский пер., 21 строение 2.

After the performance there will be a chance to speak to the cast and director.

The Wherewithal Without is a play within a play within a play, where every actor plays multiple split personalities and the plot folds in, as well as folds out.

Written and directed by Michael Oliver, winner of 12 international theatre prizes, and formerly writer in residence of the international journal of cultural intelligence; The Wherewithal Without is an exploration of the madness of the mundane, the extraordinary of ordinary, and the ever present malice within everyone.

It should be noted that the play will include various sections that have been prerecorded especially by actors currently locked down in the UK and USA. This is a theatrical performance of international scope and collaboration.

This play is not designed to help you learn the English language or to attract anyone to drama classes. This is theatre for the sake of theatre, art for the sake of art, pure British contemporary absurdism, written for a British stage, but playing in Moscow.

The Wherewithal Without includes and has permission to use original music by London composer Halina Rice.
