Russian courses + Visit to Moscow

Hello everyone,

I will be moving to Moscow towards year end for work for several years.

I am planning on coming to Moscow for 2 weeks in August to do two things:

1. to have intensive Russian classes: I have been taking private classes for about 9 months now and have an OK beginners level. Can anyone recommend a two-week course at a school and / or private tutoring?

2. to get to know the city so I can make a more or less educated choice about where to look for a flat once I move. Can anyone help me out with ideas, what to think about, etc? I have been reading a lot and was briefly in Moscow in May.
