What if reality is different from your dream?

I read an article from MSN daily that some of people with exellent education background are working as nanny, waiter, club manager etc, people still survive and most of them are positive. How can we make our dream come true? I think find more resources and contacts online is one of the ways to build up relationship and know the world, and do you think advance education is useful? Appreciate your thoughts
