Living in Naperville

Naperville is a suburban city located close to Chicago, Illinois, and has earned the nickname ‘The Golden City’. It is widely regarded as one of the best cities in the US to live in, with the wealth of its residents cited as one of the factors. A fantastic city with plenty to offer expats living in Naperville, there are a number of attractions and historical buildings to visit including the Naper Settlement and the Moser Tower which is home to the Millennium Carillon. Naperville has a great history which can be discovered at the Settlement. Naperville is also home to a number of shops, restaurants and bars and has a thriving nightlife which includes clubs, jazz nights and other live music whilst there are also cinemas and a theatre located downtown. Each year, the city hosts the Napier International Film Festival, showcasing independent films and is popular with residents as well as visitors.

Moving to Naperville

The cost of living in Naperville is considered to be high, but the wages are in line with this making it an affordable place to live for those working in the area.
