Hey everybody. I'm newly arrived in Oslo and I'm setting up my own sole proprietorship company. To get the company registered, I first needed to get a D-number from the Brønnøysund registry, for which they ask for a certified copy of my passport, which supposedly can be done by any Norwegian Authority, including the police. We've gone to the police, and called the court house, tax-office and the Brønnøysund and none of them can certify a copy of a foreign passport, nor, apparently, offer us an alternative solution. I called my embassy and they can't do it either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
