Canapés will be generously provided by the hotel management.
Tomorrow evening’s jazz band are the Wendell Brunious French All Stars (starting at 10pm):
Wendell Brunious (trumpet), Francis Guéro (trombone), Guy Bonne (saxophone), Pierre Jean (piano), Gilles Chevaucherie (string bass), Stéphane Roger (drums).
Wendell Brunious is an expert in New Orleans’ Music, but he also masters the bebop rhythms’, as Wynton Marsalis pointed out.
Starting his career at 9, he was part of numerous brass bands before joining Lionel Hampton. On top of that, he also integrated the famous Preservation Hall Jazz Band, before being appointed director. He found in France a new musical family whose erudition and enthusiasm was never denied. With Wendell and his partners, it is a bit of Bourbon Street and the French Quarter that comes to us.
We look forward to seeing you all there at 7.30pm!
