Louvre Pyramid: too modern or just right? (Paris)

Bonjour everyone! As someone not native to Paris, I was wondering what you think about the modern pyramid at the Louvre? I actually quite like it, although (or maybe because) it is such a sharp contrast to the actual building.. any comments? Do you find it too modern?
