Singaporeans In Paris, France

Message from Singapore Embassy in Paris / Ambassade de Singapour à Paris
Bonjour fellow Singaporeans,
We are happy to update that the French authorities have confirmed that there are no restrictions on Singaporeans to leave France notwithstanding the border controls that have been imposed for 30 days effective from 17 March Protected content . So, if you have a confirmed flight or are able to book flights out of France, you may leave France.
As informed earlier, SIA has suspended its Paris-Singapore flights from 16 Mar to 31 May. But our online checks show that as of the date and time of this post, the following airlines are still operating flights from Paris to Singapore:
- Air France (direct flights up till 31 Mar, as well as indirect flights transiting in Amsterdam)
- Swiss Air (transiting in Zurich)
- Thai Airways (transiting in Bangkok)
- Etihad (transiting in Abu Dhabi)
- Emirates (transiting in Dubai)
- Qatar (transiting in Doha)
Nevertheless, please double check directly with your travel agent or, better yet, with the airlines directly that the flights are still running.
When travelling to the CDG Airport to board your flight between now and 1 Apr, while the lockdown on non-essential movements is in force in France, you will need to complete the sworn declaration (“l’attestion sur l’honneur”) indicating the reason for your movement.

You will note that the Form has no option for travel to the airport. Do not worry. Just write this phrase on the Form:
« Déplacement nécessaire pour aller à l’aéroport et ensuite sortir le territoire définitivement par avion (Numéro de vol : XY zzzz ). »
Translation: This trip is necessary to go to the airport and thereafter leave the country by air (Flight No : XY zzzz).
As only hardcopies of the sworn declaration are accepted, please print out the declaration. If you do not have access to a printer, you may write out the declaration on a piece of paper using the same formulation as the online form. Don’t forget to be ready to show your confirmed tickets or boarding pass, as well as your passport. If you are stopped by the police and you fail to produce the sworn declaration form when requested to do so, you may be liable to a fine of €135.
We appreciate that deciding to return to Singapore is not easy for some of you because of professional or other reasons. However, you should consider it carefully in light of the situation in France and Europe. If you are minded to return to Singapore, please make the arrangements sooner rather than later. The fact that you would be issued a Stay-Home Notice upon your return to Singapore should be the least of your concern, as it is there for your own health interest.
Incidentally, we also understand that during the period when the border closure is in force (i.e. until 16 Apr), if you are a permanent resident or holder of a long-term residence permit in France, you are still allowed to return to France.
Finally, we must not miss this opportunity to re-issue a call on all Singapore nationals present in France to eRegister with MFA at
