UPDATE TO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS AND BORDER CONTROLS IN FRANCE

🇫🇷🤜🏽🦠 From 1 August, France has designated 16 countries as “red zones” where, according to French authorities, the COVID-19 virus is actively circulating, and where systematic testing is not available.

If you are a French residence permit holder and therefore still authorised to enter/re-enter France, and arriving from one of the four countries listed below, you will need to present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test (swab test) conducted within 72 hours BEFORE BOARDING the flight for France.

2. UNITED STATES 🇺🇸
3. BAHRAIN 🇧🇭
4. PANAMA 🇵🇦

If you are arriving from one of the 12 countries listed below, you must take a COVID-19 PCR test UPON ARRIVAL in France. You will be informed of your test results by the laboratory within 36 hours. If you are tested positive, you will be placed under 14-day quarantine. (NB: The Embassy would advise that pending the results of the test that you observe self-isolation as an added precaution.)
