What to do in Perth

Hi I am going to visit Perth for a week next week.
So far my friend suggest me to go to Kings Park to see the sunset over the skyline.
When it comes to beach do u have any suggestion where to go?
Other than that may be a place to hangout like good resto or bar would be welcomed!
