Best residential areas in/around Porto

Hi, we are looking to move to Porto and initially rent for a few weeks in September this year. Would anyone be able to explain the best areas in/around Porto for us to look at?
We like to be able to walk to some coffee shops/restaurants but probably not in the centre of Porto but perhaps a nice village/suburb and not too far from public transport into town centre.
Any help gratefully received!!
