CapitolineMuseums Sat Feb 4 CarnivalFolkTradition (Rome)

Saturday February 4 , at the Capitoline Museums:
will be a big party with masks, dances, songs, music and instruments of the folk tradition of Carnival, starting fm 21 hours.
The Tarantella of the Carnival in Rome is an original project for the Italian Popular Orchestra of the Auditorium Parco della Musica with the popular Choir directed by Anna Rita Colaianni.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Fondazione Musica per Roma and it will continue Sunday, February 5 is in open areas and indoors Parco della Musica.

It will be a great celebration marked by the tarantella, an experience of joy and fun with a hundred musicians, singers, dancers and traditional masks from various municipalities including Irpinia Montemarano, Mercogliano, Serino, Forino, Capriglia and Castelvetere.

The evening openings of the Capitoline Museums will be a unique opportunity to stroll in the splendid halls of the oldest public museum in the world, admiring masterpieces as the Lupa Capitolina, the Spinario, the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius, the paintings of Caravaggio and Guercino, Pinacoteca, the Capitoline Venus and the dying Gaul, and also to visit the current exhibitions:
Leonardo and Flight, original manuscript of the Code and multimedia and 3D experience that brings for the first time in Rome the manuscript in which it is collected the sum of the insights developed by Leonardo on the flight and on the ground floor of the Palace of the Conservatives, the Annunciation of the great Spanish-Cretan artist El Greco.
