Roseville is located in Placer County, California, and is the largest city in the area forming part of the Sacramento metro area. Roseville is nicknamed ‘The Progressive City’ largely because of its progressive outlook, whilst also being known for its historic railroads. The city has a lot to offer, and expats living in Roseville will be able to visit attractions such as the Maidu Historic Site, which features ancient rock art, bedrock mortars and relics. The city also has other interesting sights such as the Tower Theater, which was built in 1940, whilst there is a large retail industry in the area, providing expats living in Roseville with the option to enjoy shopping as well as to take in the city’s many bars and restaurants.
