Saint- Etienne is a French city that in the past was also known as ‘Armeville’ due to the local history of weapon manufacturing. If you’re already living in the town you might know it for attractions such as its Museum of Modern Art as well as its automobile culture and design biennale. It is also famous for its Massenet Festivals, which are named after the composer Jules Massenet who lived in the area.
