Black Hair care (San José)

Hi!
There is a possibility that I might be relocating to Costa to teach English in the next few months. I was wondering if there were any black hair salons in the country? Trying to figure out my hair situation, especially if I am going to be gone for 12 months! Any information would be great. Also- nail salons?? I know I might be asking alot but I am just trying to wrap my head around everything.
