RE: Best consumer bank? (São Paulo)

Hi there, as a new resident in Sao Paulo I am looking to open a current account with a Brazilian bank - so I can set-up direct debits, have my salary deposited etc. I've done some research and asked friends here etc as to which bank offers the best customer service and products etc and I am currently leaning towards Itau as the best choice. Just wondered if anyone could offer their preference based on experience? Any insight welcome. Thanks.
