“Late Marriage”

Made in Protected content , Late Marriage (Hatuna Meuheret) is a classic of modern Israeli film. It was an international success, winning a total of 18 awards and a further 8 nominations. It was Israel's submission for Best Foreign Language Film for the Academy Awards, and was part of the the 'Certain Regard' category at the Cannes Film Festival, for “original and different works which seek international recognition”.

The film was also the break-through role for Lior Ashkenazi, winning him the Israeli Film Award's Best Actor prize, and was the start of his successful acting career.
