Hey everyone.

Have you every considered practicing Aikido? This Japanese martial art emphasises harmony, self-development and safe, joyful practice.

There are no matches in Aikido and Aikido doesn’t favour muscular strength. So its ideal for women and for children, and for those who are not very fit.

Aikido teaches people to ground themselves, open up and be more present. Respect and care for self and others are also central to Aikido.

I practice at Protected content . This dojo is run by a mother-son team who have been practicing each for some 25 years.

We have a fully schedule of daily classes, seven days a week, including classes for children and beginners.

Our dojo is a home to a vibrant community of some Protected content . Among them are lots of expats, and classes are taught in English whenever non-Dutch people are practicing.

The dojo is run on a non-commercial basis and monthly fees are modest. We have our own space in the Hague, which we keep clean and organised.

Here’s a video of an Aikido demonstration that will give you a sense of what it's like: Protected content

So if you’re looking to try something new in Protected content , why not come to the dojo for a free trial lesson? Contact me if you want to learn more.
