About the Guest Speaker: Mai Miyake
She studied at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris from Protected content . In addition to her artwork, she has written novels and essays with major Japanese publishers such as Kodansha, and has engaged in a wide range of activities such as serving as a director of SHISEIDO THE STORE Window Gallery since Protected content .

Mai Miyake will share her insight into the latest trends, while also helping participants to understand the historical background that created Japanese contemporary culture.
Miyake's deeply insightful views on Japanese art and culture promise to make for a deeply stimulating 90-minute session.

Broadcasting live from the Shizenkan Studio at the HOSOO Gallery in Kyoto, we invite Mai to discuss this fascinating topic with our faculty, and participants will also have the opportunity to join the discussion during our Q&A time following the talk.
