Moving to Sapporo with a toddler (Tokyo)

Hi! I got a job offer in Sapporo. I have a 1 year old one and now I am wondering how difficult it will be to move. Any input would be appreciated on moving with a small child to Japan. Would also love to hear opinions on Sapporo. Unfortunatley ther is no internations group yet.
