humidity, internet (Tunis)

Hi,

I am an American writer living in Chile and looking for another place where I can live. I can read French well and am interesting in writing a book about Islam. So I was thinking of Tunis.

The two questions I have are people say Tunis, Tunisia has a Mediterranean climate. But I see that the summer averages are 34C. If the humidity is high then that would be miserables, yes? Are houses air conditioned?

The other is since I work from home and write about computer stuff I need very good internet. How is the internet? I need 5gbbs at least, unlimited, and dependable.
