USA-> Turin intra-company transfer: visa question

Hello,

I've just joined this website and am really impressed by how well organized it is! Could someone advise me on what is entailed in obtaining a work visa if I am being transferred internally from my company's US office to its Turin office? This is for a US-based company. I understand I don't fall under the limited annual work visa quota that is also quite time-consuming to get. If you could point me to some official information on this matter I'd be very grateful.
