Dual Citizenship (German-Canadian/Canadian-German) (Vancouver)

Greetings everyone.

I was wondering if there is anyone in this community who may be able to answer some questions I have about Dual-Ciitzenship (Doppelte Staatsangehoerigkeit). For some reason this process turns out to be quite difficult.
I had sent in my papers to the Consulat in Vancouver and didn't get a "good" feedback from them, saying that my reasons "why I want to become a Canadian Citizen" weren't sufficient enough. Keeping my German citizenship is not a problem as I have family living in Germany.

Any advice or help?
