New In Town / Meeting (Vancouver)

Dear Vancouverites,

I'm new in town since a view days and would like to meet and connect with some nice people. Since the next official Vancouver InterNations event seems not to be in sight yet, there is possibly some interest in scheduling a small extracurricular meetup? Maybe there is more than one newcomer or just interested people in the city.
