Moving to Venice Area

Hi All, my family and I are being asked to move to the Venice area in July. We have 3 kids, 11, 9 and 6. Does anyone have any experience of living around the area with kids, what British school are there? What is the cost of living like? Is there a big expat community? We are British but have lived in Paris and are now in Dubai so know what it is like to move around. However I am reluctant to move to a country where we don't know the language again as that was so hard the first time. Does anyone have experience of The English International School of Padua.
