Is Washington DC worth visiting Thanksgiving w/end (Washington, D.C.)

Hey all, I'm staying in NYC for a few days in late november. I've been to NYC 3 times already, so I was thinking about visiting DC for Protected content . Is it worth going there Protected content , or should I rather stick to NYC? (I don't care much for the parades)). Thanks!

P.S. if anyone is going out around those dates - let me know.
