Some days in Wellington and NZ

Dear all, I am travelling to NZ for my job, I will be in Auckland on the 3rd of March, Wellington from the 4th to the 6th and than I rent a car to travel on the South Island strarting from Christchurch on the 7th until the 12th of March.
As usual on my job travels I am alone, so if you have to suggest me some place to visit, eat, drink etc. please let me know and if someone want also to join me we can have a beer (maybe two) or travelling together (the car is already paid by my office).
