If you want to use computer translation Google Translate can be very useful if used properly. Google Translate is free but you must download the app or program. First open the program, then select the languages you want. For me the source language is English. Then select the target language. Cllick on the target language shown. A list of languages will appear. Scroll down until you find the language you want and click on it. You are now ready to translate. Click on the microphone symbol and dictate your message in the source language. Speak carefully. Then click on Translate. The original text will appear and if it is correct the translation should be reasonably good. Below the original text a rectangle will appear. There is a speaker icon in the rectangle. Click in it and an audio translation will play. If you want to communicate with someone who does not speak your language dictate the message in your own language and playback the translation for him or her.
At the bottom of the rectangle some icons will appear. Click on the icon of the small rectangle with the arrow. Then click on the word Messages. Google Translate will open an email in your account and put the text translation in it (but not the audio). You can then address and sent the email exactly like any other email.
