Living and working in Dubai

Hi
I am seriously thinking about moving to Dubai for work, mainly because I am recently divorced and attracted by the tax (or lack of) incentive...
I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and there appears to be lots of work there however at 47 I was just wondering if any other people my age had done the same and what they thought.?
Also I am interested in making any new contacts or if anyone has any good advice?
