Pope attacks 'TV Lifestyles'

On Saturday 26th of September an article appeared in the Daily Express which interested me, not from a religious point of view but from the sound common sense principals which were expressed. The article covers a speech to Brazilian bishops visiting the Vatican where the Pope blamed TV, Cinema and Media for promoting secular lifestyles.

Whatever your personal, ethnic, religious or non religious beliefs or cicumstances, the core of good traditional family values are key to influencing, guiding our youngsters of today, rather than the sometimes distorted views of life seen on television and cinema.

The Art of spending meaningful time with our youngsters seems to be lost in our busy schedules and the need to provide security. Is it time to return to these family traditions, where we teach respect, tolerance, understanding and building good relationships with each other?
