Round or Square ? The Politics of Tables . . .

. . . Hasn't been touched yet in this forum and I wonder if it's worth to expand.

Following yet another InterNations Sunday Brunch Lovers event at a Chinese Restaurant in Frankfurt today with a . . .

#1 - Low registrants rate before . . .
#2 - High no-show rate during . . .
#3 - On a sunny Sunday sitting in an atrium inside
#4 - More of a lunch than being a brunch

. . . I've noticed a HIGH connection rate amongst the attendees in my InterNations wire . . . AFTER . . .

I pondered a little bit and came to the conclusion that despite the circumstances . . . sitting on BIG round tables with the rotary plate in the middle . . . it was a VERY communicative setting/sitting.

Or is it the . . . less is more . . . rule ?

So anyone could come up with a more scientific approach to proof my gut feelings right, say Vastu or Feng Shui ?

What dining tables do you prefer, round, square, oval ?
What tables would/do support world peace and diplomacy and why ?

Is this topic worth to expand ? Have your say . . .
