Our Services for Riga Expatriates
Enjoy your Riga Expat Experience
Latvia's important seaport, situated on the mouth of the Daugava, opens its intercultural doors to you, beginning with its attractions such as the House of Blackheads, a former guild hall and now the town museum in Riga's central square,, the traditional celebration of Latvia’s Darba svētki, to savoring a dish of pirags. The InterNations network is a place made for the Riga expat and offers insider tips and opportunities to ensure that you can make the most of your life as an expat in Latvia. Our members are looking forward to offer their advice and knowledge from experience when you come across one of the many questions about the life as an expatriate in Riga, from ʺWhat are the most famous sights in Riga?ʺ to ʺDo I need at least a smattering of Russian and / or Latvian in everyday life?ʺ
Join our Expat Riga Network
Our members hail from Portugal, Italy, Scandinavia, Switzerland and nearly every other country from around the world, all of whom are living the expat life in Riga, just like you. In addition to our lively online community, our members regularly get together at our InterNations events or take part in planning trips together, e.g. stopping by Latvia’s cultural destinations in Latvia's dense pine woodlands, interspersed by over 3,000 small lakes.
We cordially invite you to take part: Our expats in the Riga community are friendly and will be happy to welcome you as a new member. Just ask for your personal invitation and you’ll be warmly welcomed by our expat Riga chapter!
