Guten Appetit: A German Beer Dinner
Considering how far we are from Germany, there are a surprising number of German restaurants in Tokyo. But given how many Germans I meet at InterNations, perhaps this is not surprising!
I don't usually put dinners on Saturday nights because of the danger of clashing with an official InterNations event, but next Saturday looks free, so we have an opportunity for a Saturday night out together!
So let's go into an atmospheric German restaurant in one of my favourite, lively parts of Tokyo. Every time I walk past it, I think "I really should visit that place sometime". It's time to finally do it!
They offer course menus, but I have booked us a table only, so we can eat or drink as much (or as little) as we would like.
They are strict about cancellations, and the website says, "Please note that a cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations or reductions in the number of people", so the usual request to only sign up if you are sure you can make it applies.
