In Remembrance of George Floyd - Billboard Campaign - Don Perlis
Artists in the Wake of George Floyd
against Racism and injustice
Don Perlis Artist NY
While citizens nationwide are protesting the death of George Floyd, who died after a Minneapolis officer kneeled on his neck for nine minutes, artists, musicians, and others are also speaking up and looking for ways to help end racism and bring about accountability.
Billboards are sought to display reproductions of “FLOYD”, an original painting by Don Perlis depicting the death of George Floyd. The George Floyd Billboard Campaign Committee is attempting
to get an image of the painting displayed prominently among the billboards in Times Square, NY and on billboards.
