The Science of Happiness - workshop
Dear PDG members,
After a gorgeous summer we are restarting our weekly workshops with new topics and approaches from selected trainers and coaches of various background.
The first session of the season will focus on the Science of Happiness and will be led by Mirna Šmidt, a tranier and advocate of positive psychology.
After the two hour workshop there will be an opportunity to network and socialize among the participants.
The Science of Happiness: How to find satisfaction in everyday life and work
Have you ever wondered about what really makes you happy?
What are some of scientifically proven ways to impact our level of happiness?
Why do we sometimes miss out on more engagement, presence and enjoyment in our life... and how to avoid that trap?
How can we, through small and simple changes, build in more happiness and joy into our days?
In this 2h introduction workshop we will explore all these topics in an engaging and interactive way. You will leave with better understanding of what are the true sources of your happiness and with many practical ideas, tips and tricks on how to infuse a bit more of happiness into your everyday life and work.
During this workshop you will have the opportunity to
- develop deeper understanding about which elements impact your happiness
- learn how to introduce more mindfulness in your life and how it relates to happiness
- develop more capacity for enjoyment and presence through mindfulness and gratitude
- discover new happiness boosters and ideas on how to create happy moments
Mirna Šmidt is an interpersonal skills trainer and founder of Happiness Academy Protected content , an initiative focusing on spreading the knowledge about positive psychology through high quality educational events and materials.
In parallel with a successful career in advanced technologies, she acquired over ten years of experience in training during which she has collaborated on numerous international learning projects and with many companies in diverse industries.
As a consequence of her passion for learning design and delivery, Mirna also started Trainers' Toolbox Protected content , a project through which she is developing creative tools for trainers and coaches.
