A spectacle on the border of theatre and cinema, a pop-opera conceived by Fabrice Murgia to reflect on this feminine voice which is often reminiscent of that of Virginia Woolf, Fabrice Murgia with music by Belgian author/composer An Pierlé.

"I win my freedom by cutting back on my sleep" : this quotation of Sylvia Plath Protected content , American poet, novelist, and short-story writer) aptly summarizes her thoughts and inner conflicts. The icon of a poetic rather than a committed feminism, Sylvia Plath will struggle her whole life to fit into the "American Dream" i.e. perfect spouse and mother, and her irrepressible need to write.

This complex life is recorded in a personal diary from which she will create a novel "The Bell Jar" in Protected content the same year she will take her own life.
