COMMEDIA 3.0 INFERNO (based on the Dante's Divine Comedy)
This MUSICAL, liberally inspired by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, is a pleasure for the eyes and the mind !
Come and spend a pleasant evening at this sparkling show which will make you love Dante's Divine Comedy should you not still have heard of or read it.
As an allegory, the Divine Comedy represents the journey of the soul toward God, with the Inferno describing the recognition and rejection of sin.
The musical is about the first part of the Divine Comedy, the INFERNO (HELL), that tells the journey of Dante through Hell, guided by the ancient Roman poet Virgil. In the poem, Hell is depicted as nine concentric circles of torment located within the Earth; it is the "realm ... of those who have rejected spiritual values by yielding to bestial appetites or violence, or by perverting their human intellect to fraud or malice against their fellowmen".
For many, the INFERNO is the best of part of the Divine Comedy.
